Thursday November 17th 6-7pm on Merrimon (Event Page):

Asheville BBoy legend, Joe Adams (shown above), and his students will be throwing down the cardboard and showing off their exceptional breakdancing skills! Plus there will be a tutorial and additional chances for audience participation. This is going to be an all out Bboy and Bgirl dance party!!!

This week at The Hop: B-boys & Autism Speaks Fundraiser

This Tuesday, March 29th, from 6-7pm, we at The Hop are opening up our floors to Asheville B-boy legend, Joe(Tse) Adams, and special guests! The plan, with the help of DJ Brett Rock, is to absolutely bring down the house with some killer breakdancing, including an open cipher for the kids in attendance to have a moment to show off their b-boy/b-girl skills! There is, of course, no obligation to you to attend. All we ask is that you slip on them dancin' shoes and expect an amazing time :)



Then on Wednesday, from 5-9pm we and UNC Asheville's Alpha Xi Delta invite you to a fundraiser for Autism Speaks. These upstanding young women have done an excellent job organizing the 50s-themed event, which will include a Karaoke machine! Check out all of the details at this link. It really is so great (and encouraging) that these college students have a mind for philanthropy. Hope you can help them support a worthy cause!
