Sharing the Asheville Love this Week

Alright, folks. In the next three days we are excited to be supporting and raising funds for three different causes at The Hop(s)!



Tuesday, August 23rd all day both locations, Brother Wolf Animal Rescue Day:
Show Brother Wolf, http://bwar.org/, some love by eating Ice Cream. We will be donating 20% of sales from both The Hop and The Hop West in an effort to help save animal lives! In addition, Brother Wolf will have animals up for adoption from 3-8pm on Merrimon. Please feel free to bring material donations as well.



Wednesday, August 24th from 5-8pm at The Hop, American Cancer Society Day:
Chances are you've known someone close who has battled with cancer or done so yourself. To support cancer research, raise awareness and funds, The Hop will be donating 50% of sales during the event on Merrimon to ACS. In addition there will be merchandise for sale as well as a donation jar to help bring in always-needed funds.



Thursday, August 25th all day at both locations, Asheville Firefighters Benefit:
The Hop and The Hop West have joined a great number of Asheville businesses to raise funds for and help support the Families of Firefighters affected by the Biltmore Ave fire. 10% of sales from both locations will be donated. Tuesday 1/25 5-8pm: The Hop invites you to show your support for Asheville Grown, and meet people involved in our local community.



We will be donating 50% of sales during the event back to Asheville Grown Business Alliance.

In addition, AGBA will be selling their "Love Asheville" apparel and the new stickers.

Come have a cup or cone (or Hot Chocolate Float) with The Hop's homemade Ice Cream and spread the local love with Asheville Grown!

"Hey, how you!" I'm Greg, The Hop's Social Media operator. My lovely wife, Ashley, The Ice Cream Ninja Master, and I are so very fortunate to be the owners of The Hop(s). This year has truly been a wonderful year for us in every respect. Thus, I am here, in the holiday hemisphere, on Christmas Day, to offer our most sincere, warmest and fuzziest thanks to all of you.



Seriously, you folks in the Asheville Community are amazing. It would have never been imaginable to think that a collective of people could be so welcoming, open to ideas, willing to collaborate, genuinely supportive of each other and just flat out awesome! Over the past 12 months we have met and worked with so many brilliant and creative groups or individuals on such incredible and diverse events. The depth of it is unfathomable. Allowing us to be a part of this unique Asheville scene has literally changed our lives in such a positive way and, honestly, brought us closer as a couple.



So on this Christmas Day, Ashley and I, with all of the stores of happy Yule-tide vibes within us, wish you the best holiday imaginable. We are so thankful to know you, interact with you, meet you in person and be able to experience the many beauties of Asheville with you! Let's keep building this community together!!!!
